Getting there
We hope you decide to come join us on the 4th at Noon. We’ll be meeting initially on the green at the corner of Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street. The green is pretty self-evident when you see it, but you can see a picture of it from above on the website of the Adega Cellars, which overlooks the green.
If you’re coming by Metro you’ll want to take the red line to the Silver Spring station. When you exit the station you’ll be facing the intersection of Colesville Road & Wayne Avenue. Simply walk up Colesville Road, past the AFI Silver theater and take a right onto Fenton. One block up on your left you’ll see the green diagonally across the intersection.
If you’re driving and coming via the beltway you’ll want to get off of 495 on Georgia Avenue and go south. A left onto Cameron and a right onto Fenton will get you to the intersection. From the Downton DC area you can come North on 16th Street and take a right onto Colesville Road. Once you pass through Georgia Avenue you can take a right onto Fenton and you’ll see the green up ahead on your left.
Either way you drive, there’s parking on the street or in a number of parking garages in the area.
